Dr.Bassler obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of California Davis School of Medicine. He did his internship at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine and returned to the University of California Davis to complete his residency training in Dermatology.

He has been a Board Certified Dermatologist since 2000, and was recertified by the Board in 2008. He has practiced Dermatology in Orange County since 2002. Dr. Bassler's expertise lies in diseases of the skin and skin cancer, and he practices Medical and Surgical dermatology.
